The PlayStation 3 console, a "supercomputer for computer
entertainment," will combine state-of-the-art technology
with next-gen digital media and high storage capacity. As
rumoured, the PS3 will utilise the new Blu-Ray disc format,
which can hold up to six times as much data as the PS2's
DVD discs. It'll have slots for Sony Memory Stick Duo plus
an SD slot, a compact flash memory slot, and a slot for
a detachable 2.5GB hard disk drive.
